This tour is designed for those who don’t have much time to enjoy the islands. In just 5 days you can enjoy the magic of the Galapagos Islands. We propose a combination of land tours and snorkeling in which you will be able to observe a good part of the endemic flora and fauna of the islands. We also offer you daily diving tours so you can expand your horizons a little more (this itinerary can be combined with a sailing cruise and complete your visit to the islands).
Itinerary
During this tour 3 sites are visited: “El Chato”, the lava tunnels and “los Gemelos”. “El Chato” is a private reserve for giant tortoises near Santa Rosa, located approximately 19 km from Puerto Ayora. This is one of the few places where you can see these old giants in their natural habitat. Here you can also see owls, finches, canaries, ducks and coots. After visiting this reserve, you will go to the lava tunnels, underground formations that are approximately 1 km long. These tunnels were formed by the solidification of the molten lava flow. As the crust cooled, the underlying lava continued to circulate beneath it, forming the tunnels.
Includes two dives, complete equipment, transportation, lunch, snack, Marine Reserve guide, photos and videos.
The site will depend on the experience of the diver and our itinerary (see the diving section for more information).
The tour to Santa Fe & Playa Escondido departs at 8:00 am and returns to Puerto Ayora around 3:30 pm.
Includes: lunch, naturalist guide and snorkel equipment (mask, fins and tube).
Includes two dives, complete equipment, transportation, lunch, snack, Marine Reserve guide, photos and videos.
The site will depend on the experience of the diver and our itinerary (see the diving section for more information).
The tour to Santa Fe & Playa Escondido departs at 8:00 am and returns to Puerto Ayora around 3:30 pm.
Includes: lunch, naturalist guide and snorkel equipment (mask, fins and tube).
For the diving tour, the departure is at 7:00 am (from our offices) and the return is between 2:30-3:00 pm.
The departure is approximately at 6:00 am (for Bartolomé) or between 7:00 – 8:00 am (for Plazas or Seymour) and the return is approximately at 4:00-5:00 pm.
Includes breakfast (only for Bartolomé), lunch, water, snorkel equipment (mask, snorkel, fins) and Wetsuit/suits are available for rent.
Please let us know your preference for this day as it is better to book the tours in advance to reserve your space.
Transfer from the airport (Baltra) to the hotel with a visit to the upper part.

PM: Visit to “Los Gemelos”, giant tortoise reserve and “lava tunnel”
Day 2
Diving (the place depends on our established itinerary) or snorkel tour to Santa Fe or Pinzón
Day 3
Diving (the place depends on our established itinerary) or snorkel tour to Santa Fe or Pinzón
Day 4
Tour to North Seymour, Plazas, Bartolomé or Santa Fe
day 5
Transfer back to the airport
