The Tour
Kicker Rock, Called for its resemblance to a sleeping lion, it is situated on the northwest side of San Cristóbal, right in the middle of the ocean, almost an hour’s boat ride from the main port. Two large rocks emerge from the bottom of the sea with 145 meters high, this is one of the most biodiverse sites in Galapagos for snorkeling and diving, where we can have the opportunity to see hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, black tip sharks, schools of rays, sea turtles, sea lions and many more of different species of fish.
We also take a boat ride through the rocks to see blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, frigatebirds that when it is mating season put on an incredible show, then we visit the beach called Cerro Brujo o Manglecito.
ITINERARY
Your trip begins at 7:30 – 8:00 AM from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, San Cristóbal.
Navigation (40 mins) to Kicker Rock (León Dormido), an iconic rock formation split in two, home to diverse marine life.
Snorkeling & Diving at Kicker Rock, where you can see hammerhead sharks, white-tip reef sharks, sea turtles, rays, and a variety of fish.
Short navigation (20 mins) to Cerro Brujo, a pristine white-sand beach with breathtaking views.
Beach exploration & relaxation, with opportunities to spot sea lions, blue-footed boobies, and marine iguanas.
Lunch on board before returning to San Cristóbal.
- Transfer back to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno around 02:30pm
