The Tour

ITINERARY

  • The tour begins with a boat ride toward Daphne Major, located north of Santa Cruz Island.

  • Seabird observation is done from the boat, with chances to see boobies, frigatebirds, and gulls.

  • The next activity is snorkeling near the island, in waters full of vibrant marine life.

  • While snorkeling, it’s common to spot rays, turtles, sharks, and colorful reef fish.

  • After snorkeling, the tour continues to Borrero Bay on the northern coast of Santa Cruz.

  • At Borrero Bay, participants disembark to search for endemic species like lava herons and pelicans.

  • The area also offers views of gulls, Sally Lightfoot crabs, and peaceful coastal vegetation.
