LOCATION
Devil’s Crown, located off the coast of Floreana, is a partially submerged volcanic crater that forms a striking ring of rocks rising from the sea. This site is renowned for its rich marine biodiversity, including reef fish, white-tip reef sharks, and endemic corals. Due to strong currents, it is recommended for experienced divers.
ACTIVITY
Devil’s Crown is as renowned among snorkelers as it is among divers. Though small and shallow, this site is rich in marine life, including reef fish, Galapagos species, and endemic fish. Highlights include spotting endemic coral formations, a natural cleaning station, and encounters with Galapagos sharks and white-tip reef sharks.
